Volunteer to Deliver Meals to Homebound Seniors

Woburn URGENTLY needs Meals on Wheels volunteer drivers! 

Do you have an hour to spare each week or as little as two hours per month? 

Volunteers are need to deliver mid-day meals to homebound seniors. Just this brief interaction with drivers goes a long way in improving the health and well-being of senior citizens.

Meals are provided by Minuteman Senior Services, a nonprofit organization that helps seniors and people with disabilities live in the setting of their choice by engaging community resources and supporting caregivers.

Volunteer at an HIV/AIDS Community Resource Center

Plenty of volunteer opportunities at the Boston Living Center!

Victory Programs’ Boston Living Center (BLC) is a nonprofit community and resource center that fosters the wellness of all HIV positive people and responds to the changing needs of the HIV/AIDS community through education, treatment information and support services.

Volunteers are needed to help with:

  • Serving meals
  • Checking in visitor's belongings
  • Assisting with office work
  • Monitoring the computer lab
  • Helping with holistic programs

The GLBTQ Domestic Violence Project assists and supports victims and survivors of domestic violence, focusing on the GLBTQ community, to bring about responsive public policy, and to increase access to culturally competent services.

Volunteers are needed to help with:

  • Tabling at events
  • Marching at pride events
  • Staffing a victim hotline
