Connect for Community Impact

At our Social Capitalist Luncheon, we highlighted some of our most timely opportunities for getting involved with SCI:

  • Serving on the SCI Board We are actively seeking board members who can help us achieve our goal of partnering with 30 communities in the region, leveraging our social capital focus to foster youth success and healthy communities. We welcome ideas about great candidates in your network, as well as exploring if SCI board service might be a fit for you.

  • Talking about how SCI might partner with my organization or one that I know. This page summarize SCI's services (i.e. what SCI can do for your organization). We also have an opportunity for organizations in targeted communities to apply to become an SCI AmeriCorps host site partner. More information, including the application due Spring 2015, can be found here.

  • Exploring how SCI might help the community where I work or live.

  • Learning more about the Social Capital & Health Outcomes Forum planned for Spring 2015. You might simply be interested in coming, or helping us shape the event. Here's a link to the recap of the initial Social Capital Forum held in 2013.
