South Coast Serves Logo

South Coast Serves is looking for volunteers to be team leaders and assist 10-20 Middle School students from the Roosevelt Middle School in New Bedford. These students will spend part of Martin Luther King Jr. Day helping out Gifts To Give also located in New Bedford. Gifts to Give is a former textile mill turned warehouse where surplus children's gear is recycled, repurposed, and gifted to children in need.

On December 7th, South Coast Serves will be hosting their Orientation for those who would like to volunteer for the event and help be a positive role model to these young emerging leaders in the New Bedford area. The Day of Service would not occur until MLK Day on Monday, January 20, 2014.

For more information about the event and how you can help out, please contact Gabby Monteiro at gmonteiro@socialcapitalinc.org
