Spring is usually a quiet time in Franklin Park. The Park is still a few weeks away from the leaves, birds, golfers, and festival goers attending the park's great activities. It is a special time to take a look at Franklin Park in a different way. The way designer Frederick Law Olmsted saw it. Observe features that are hard to see when the park is fully leafed out. Join the National Olmsted Historic Site for a 90 minute stroll to celebrate spring's arrival in Boston.

This event will take place on Sunday, March 23 from 2-3:30 pm at Franklin Park Shattuck Picnic Grove located at the intersection of Forest Hills Drive and Jewish War Veterans Memorial Highway in Boston. Advanced reservations are required, to do so, email Ranger Mark Swartz at Mark_Swartz@nps.gov by Thursday, March 20th.
