The MyCharlestown.org Action Team will be hosting a community meeting on January 18 at the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. The meeting will cover the goal of the portal and a broad walk through of the site’s major features, including a community calendar, resource guide, and bulletin board for volunteer opportunities and community jobs. The session will include instructions on how you can add community events and information to the site.

If you have a chance to visit MyCharlestown.org in advance of the meeting you can register for an account and be able to add information to the site during the meeting from your smart phone or other internet connected device.

If you can’t make the meeting, be sure to sign-up to receive the biweekly MyCharlestown eBlast. The first edition will be sent February 1!

There are 99 non-profits in Charlestown, not including civic groups and our goal is to create a vital portal that will be the first stop for Charlestown to find what’s going on and how to get connected to civic life.Read more
