2018 Social Capitalist Luncheon

SCI's annual Social Capitalist Luncheon was a great success with over 275 people present for the event. We were honored and grateful to have a chance to highlight the tremendous contributions the 2018 Community Social Capitalists and Idealists make to our communities. Special thanks to our gold sponsors, Eastern Bank and MFS Investment Management, for their generous contributions.

This year's Idealist Award was presented to Carol Fulp, CEO of the Partnership, for her vital work to foster diverse leadership in our communities, something that is closely aligned with SCI's values and vital to the well-being of our region. To read more about Carol, click here.

Many thanks to all of our luncheon sponsors: Appleton Partners, Codman Square Health Center, Goulston & Storrs, Inversant, Lamacchia Realty, Liberty Mutual Insurance, National Grid, Stop & Compare Supermarkets, YMCA of Greater Boston, Akar Ventures, Anderson & Kreiger LLP, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, The Boston Foundation, CliftonLarsonAllen LLP, Gennari Aronson LLP, Liberty Bay Credit Union, Rick Metters, Maura Embler & Family, and Natixis Investment Managers.

Feed our Families Food and Toiletry Drive

SCI's partner agency United Neighbors of Fall River has recently been witnessing an influx of families from Puerto Rico in the area, many of which are not eligible for usual food pantry services as most of those require at least 30 days residency in the community served. Under these circumstances, United Neighbors of Fall River has been making an effort to step in and distribute/collect essential items for this population. There is a list of needs attached below for anyone who is able to donate in order to help these families.
