“Las Posados” Commemorating the Immigrant Journey of Mary and Joseph

Thu, 11/06/2008 - 3:26pm
Start: 12/07/2008 - 3:00pm End: 12/07/2008 - 6:00pm

Join your community on Sunday, December 7th, 2008 at 3 PM for a huge parade of faithful souls, an afternoon of fellowship, music, food, and a unique firsthand experience of powerful immigrant tradition that is as relevant today as it was 2,000 years ago. This is a great way for communities of faith to celebrate dignity and justice with each other and some of our most marginalized members of society.

The parade will begin at the Park Street T station and finish with a celebration at the offices of SEIU 615, 26 West Street, 3rd floor, Boston, MA 02111. In case of inclement weather the open parade will take place at the site of the fiesta.

For more information about the event and/or how you can organize a group to participate, please email Jennifer Chow at Jennifer.Chow@bcbsma.com or call her at (617) 246-3509. To RSVP you can visit www.masscs.org.
